| Romo is a manwhore | The Bourne Ultimatum First Trailer. Looks to be a natural extension from Supremecy, even if it has little to do with the books by this point. Bourne Ultimatum Film Feature - Yahoo! Movies UK |

| This is the only question I have too. The second movie was okay as a whole but holy god the camera work was bad. The only time I've ever gotten nauseaus at a theater was trying to keep up with the fucking camera in supremacy.

+8 Internets | Since the same director is on for Ultimatum, I have a feeling we are going to have similar fight scenes. |

+34 Internets | Yeah, and I always hear industry 'insiders' or whatever they are say that it's because it creates a sense of chaos, or more accurately portrays what a real fight is like, or some other stupid horse shit like that. That is a load of donkey shit, 100%, completely. Shakey fight scenes are NEVER done right, they are ALWAYS wrong. If it's the same director, then fuck that. No more retarded fight scenes for me. I can just go watch 300 again.

| One thing that was great about the first one was since the camera didn't shake during his fight scenes, you saw how precise and bad ass Jason Bourne was. He took down so many people signle handedly.. The bad camera makes you wonder how the hell he did that or if he just got lucky. Oh and instead of the emeny getting a headache.. you get one instead. |

| User Name Agreed. Bourne Identity was one of the best action flicks, ever. Supremacy and Ultimatum look like they're cashing in Matrix style... As in: two shit followups to a brilliant original.

| I still hate them for killing Marie (and just in generally diverging so completely from the books that the name is the only thing left in common), and Paul Greengrass isn't half the director Doug Liman was... but I'll probably end up in a theater on 7/15 anyway. |

+25 Internets | I thought that Marie was annoying as fuck in the books anyway. Maybe it was just because Ludlum is essentially an awful writer (in a literary, character development sense, I liken him to Dan Brown), but she only ever got on my nerves in the books. Ludlum figured he was making this strong-willed, independent woman character, yet he couldn't resist the temptation to make her freak out and cry/panic every 5 seconds. Her only saving grace was that she was Canadian. But bitch was from Calgary, even. |

+1 Internets | God damn, I could not stand The Bourne Supremacy book. Out of a six hundred page paperbook, I swear to Christ that 100 pages of it was "Am I Jason Bourne? Am I David Webb? WHOOOO AAMMM IIII??" and another 100 pages of the book was in italics. The first was solid but the second really took a nosedive on writing quality. Seriously, that guy was a shitty writer. |

+25 Internets | Ludlum's no better or worse than any other number of mass-market, sell a billion copies authors. Tom Clancy, John Lecarre, Dale Brown (not Dan), and several others are all in a somewhat similar genre, and all are equally poor writers really. But they're not trying produce works of art anyways, so I don't really hold it against them (and I've always thought Clancy was actually fairly decent) and in fact have read a lot of their books. |
