Yep it's "In the House - In a Heartbeat" by John Murphy.

I don't normally like sequels much, especially to movies like this, but the opening scene is so fucking intense I was hooked to the rest of it from there, even though there were some rather large plotholes.

Believe this movie also used a great song by Brian Eno - And Ending (Ascent) - it's on the "Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks" album, but probably also on the 28weeks later soundtrack

Ascent, which is an outstanding song, was in 28 days later. Was also used at the end of HEAT and Traffic.

Meh, it was pretty boss for about the first half hour, but then it took a sharp turn in retard-ville as soon as they locked all the people in the dark, poorly guarded parking garage for "safety".

Yeah this had all the makings to be a great movie and they just did not deliver. I watched it again on HBO this week only after seeing it theaters and it was even worse the 2nd time around. There were some good parts though. Once the dad turned into a zombie it pretty much turned retarded from that point on. I'm hoping they make World War Z the zombie movie I have been waiting for.

Love the first film with Boyle directing. Hopefully they bring Murphy back because that was Robocops name.

Sci-Fi Wire attended a press junket for "Slumdog Millionaire," where director Danny Boyle discussed doing a follow-up to "28 Weeks Later." Boyle was the director of the first film, "28 Days Later," but then stepped aside to produce the sequel, "28 Weeks Later." And now, he's considering to get back to the director's chair for "28 Months Later," the third film in the franchise.

"I'd certainly like to," said Boyle. "I feel the idea is quite a strong idea, and it could well involve directing it. Yeah, absolutely."

Boyle began rousing fan speculation about a third film when he suggested that "28 Months Later" could follow "28 Weeks Later." As for what would happen when Weeks turn to Months, Boyle remained vague about the concept. "There is an idea for a third part, but I haven't really done enough about it yet," he said.

The first film introduced the viral outbreak that reduced London to hordes of raving, zombie-like monsters. The sequel explored what happens when the military tries to repopulate the city after the threat was presumably contained.

I would watch 28 months later only if Boyle directed it. 28 weeks later was sad and pathetic.

Funny this thread got ressed because I just watched 28 weeks later for the first time about a week ago.

Just when I thought the movie was getting started it ended, and I was disappointed, but if the original director returns, I have hope for 28 Months Later.
