| HorrorFK | Halloween Collective It's a little late to be posting this (seeing as my purpose of the thread is to gather interesting information), but there's still a good 4 months until the release. Halloween is pretty much my favorite movie of all time (at least that's what I'd answer on a questionaire). That being said, most would see it surprising that I'm excited for the remake. I'd be pretty upset if any other douche bag was putting the movie together, but I keep my trust in Rob Zombie. Personal shit aside, here we go. Website: Halloween Random Information:

| I have all the faith in the world that Rob Zombie can bring one of the best horror movie series ever back up to where it should be! I am really looking forward to this!!

| I give this idea of a movie a big "meh", but i won't go as far as to protest it: Fangoria - America's Horror Magazine PS if his wife gets naked in this one again it will probably make more money than devil's rejects.

| While I'm nowhere near as big a fan of the Halloween series as the original poster, the first one was indeed a very good movie and deserves a remake, especially considering some other shitpiles that have gotten remakes a while ago. Here is to hoping that they manage to bring the fears the first movie inspired back then into the present day, and that they avoid the dumbass Druid storyline the earlier movies in the series led this promising premise to. |

| As big a fan as I am of horror movies, I don't have any special attachment to Halloween either. I think Zombie's flicks have been average so far, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and go see Halloween when it comes out. It's certainly no more of an affront than remaking TCM or Dawn of the Dead was. |

| I liked TCM too, but not Dawn of the Dead. And of course the TCM remake could never live up to the original, it was just good in its own way. I'm just saying that people getting angry enough about the idea of a remake to be picketing before the movie even starts shooting is kind of silly when much better movies than Halloween have already been remade without any such protests. |

| I'm actually looking forward to this. I loved the original Halloween (and hated pretty much all the rest). I'm also a huge fan of Rob Zombie's first two films. And hell if his mega hot wife gets naked again I'm all for that. |

| HorrorFK | One of the sad things about this remake, is Sherrie Moon. We can easily guess that she's going to have a big role in this movie, when Mrs. Strode was barely depicted in the original. That ensures there will be more back-story to the movie. I doubt there'll be a flash scene from her, though. Unless Michael stares at her changing through the window.

| Pride Never Die | Never been a really big Halloween fan, but it's about time these kind of movies make a comeback instead of the "let's see how much we can make people puke" movies(aka Saw, Hostel, etc..). I have faith Rob will make a killer Halloween(pun not intended). The trailer looks freaking awesome.

| Heh, I wouldn't get my hopes up about there being any shortage of gore in the new Halloween. It's Rob Zombie, ffs... all you have to do is watch his other movies to see what he's good at (and imo those movies are firmly in the same category as Hostel and Saw--not that that's a bad thing). He may say he's focusing on "character, mood and terror" but that doesn't mean he's going to shoot all the killings in near-total darkness and only focus the camera on blood spatter as opposed actual gore. |
