There was nothing really wrong with the second one. A little too much action is the worst thing I can say about it.

I really enjoyed it as well. The trailer for 3 looks pretty nice.

Trailer does look nice.

My only issue with the last movie was a serious lack of "ship to ship" combat. Hopefully this movie will rectify that problem.

I've heard pretty much universally good things about the second movie. Wouldn't say you're in a minority.

I really enjoyed the second as well. It's great to have a good popcorn flick like these once in a while. I will honestly be sad to see it end with this final installment.

Cant wait for May!

Both the first and second PotC movies are just great examples of fun movies.

Unlike too many movies these days, they don't have convoluted plots, overblown attempts at dialogue or complex characters. They're simple stories told properly, with archetypical characters, some good action and humour thrown in. They're not too presumptuous or try to be too smart, like too many movies do these days.

I thought the first two were great movies with lasting appeal. Looking forward to the next. Hopefully it won't be the last (though I wouldn't be surprised if the current main chars bow out after the trilogy is complete).

I have loved them all so far. The 3rd looks like it will be just as good if not better.

This movie has potential. I like the trailer.

Man, I didn't like the second movie nearly as good as the first. I tried watching it a second time when it came out on DVD and turned it off half way through.

Jack was a bad guy but decent in the first movie. He had his faults, being a selfish pirate and all, but he was liked by his crew and made choices that weren't all selfish.

I thought the second movie took Jack's character back a few steps to make him more dark and corrupted, betraying everyone up until the very end of the movie. I didn't want to like him nearly as much as I did in the first movie, which took to much away for me.

Anyone know why the trailer won't load for me? I have the latest version of quicktime, when I click the link it opens up quicktime with the file name yohoyoho_480.qtl but then sits there with only the sliding playbar and nothing loading, i hit play and nothing happens, no image.

You have windows media player? There is a option for that as well thats what I clicked.
