| The Silent Hill movie was weird, to me. All this freaky shit going on and the main character didn't hardly seem phased by any of it (other than trying not to die). I never played the video game though, so I'm not really aware of the whole story. Plus I fell asleep like halfway through it... |

| SH1 wasn't really that good. It might be more accurate to say that it was "OK" and did a modest job of conveying the creepy confusion that is present in the games.

+5 Internets | There are interesting things in Ganz's movie, but he managed to take the single most uninteresting tidbit of the Silent Hill universe and make a movie out of it. It was also pretty lame that the soundtrack was a compilation of existing music instead of a new and homogenous score by Yamaoka. Onimusha will fit him better since it will be tough to do a plot more stupid than the ones of the games.

considering how fucked up SH games are, its not an easy task to write a good script, and stay close to the original material what made me love it was the atmosphere. It was dark, creepy and sick....just like the games. The special, visual and sound effects were fantastic also, whatever flaw it may have, it's overbalanced by Pyramid Head deskinning the redhead bitch ![]()

| I didnt think the SH movie was that bad. Especially when you consider what most game to movie adaptations are like! Like fucker posted, the creepy atmosphere, sound, and fx was kept true in the movie which is what really matters most about the SH franchise. While I dont think the original would gather any Oscar nominations, it was still enjoyable to watch. I hope they dont tarnish that in the sequel.

| barb wire tentacle thing was good but i continue to say that this movie should called "Silent Hill 2: Pyramid Head 2 hours non-stop mass raping" and in the special features we could have a documentary called "Professor Pyramid Head" its all about PH teaching to Freddy, Jason, Ash Williams, Pinhead and Samuel L. Jackson to be badasses on screen (if anyone noticed, yes i like PH. and i have not even played SH2 )
