Will not try to tell ya the plot about the movie here, just my opinion. Basically a good mixture of action, drama and a happy ending, if you like De Niro you wont be disapointed with the movie.

yea. The movie was "ok". Nothing really special. Some parts really dragged on and the story got stale after a while. Deniro was good as usual. I actually found Showtime a better movie even though it was a comedy. Even though i've been waiting for the next good drama for over a year now, this one didnt really do it for me. Not a bad movie by any stretch. But if you've seen a lot of movies then this one wont really be anything that stands out.

Here's why.

James Franco sucked. Let me explain one scene that irritated me. He goes and sees his ex girlfriend. Later on, we find she has a kid with him that she won't let him see. Ok, when he was at her apartment..why the fuck didn't he even mention his kid? Ther was NO TENSION in this drama. It was all about nothing. No build up, nothing. It would stray to side plot shit that was a waste of time. It would cut to cheesy scenes of Franco brooding on the beach. Any romance or plotline that was mildly interesting (Deniro/his check) was destroyed like BAM..done gone....let's get this over with stupidly. The villian was given nothing to work with. I mean the ending SUCKED. Can someone tell me where Franco got the money to buy a brand spanking new 9MM at the end of this movie?
