| Ellen Degeneres was good. she kept it very simple and used some safe jokes so overall she did well. Tom Hanks owning Chris Conelly was hilarious. Will Ferrell and Jack Black was funny. Glad Martin finally got his best director. The departed was a good movie but certainly not the best film of the year. Take that Dreamgirls getting owned by a documentary song. Alan Arkin gets best supporting? Lawlz "Remember, Fuck Alot of Women" Whitaker shouldn't get best actor for a supporting role, especially when you had Leonardo who gave 2 oscar worthy performances this year, along with Will Smith. The show was good. Most of the winners was not other than Martin. And thank lord Babel didn't win shit. The departed was better than all the movies other than little miss sunshine so that was good. |

+15 Internets | Funny I was actually about to watch Babel just from the sheer amount of press it's getting. I also was secretly hoping Whitaker didn't win, something about no element of surprise makes an awards show suck ass.. hmm. I actually thought man it'd be wild of Gosling won, like holy shit didn't say that coming at all but of course the two lead actor/actress awards were predictable.
