+13 Internets | I loved Sin City 1, but I hope they keep the same smart dialog, but have less scenes trying to impress unto the audience that a villian is bad, and more scenes showing how a hero is badass. |

| I hope they keep it basically a panel-by-panel recreation of the comic, especially in A Dame to Kill For (easily the best of the Sin City stories). And it's about damn time they started filming. I think Angelina Jolie is a great casting choice for Ava Lord, but I'd have preferred they'd just gotten someone else if she was going to cause that long a delay. |

| Huh, apparently I haven't been paying attention and the reason they are finally about to start shooting Sin City 2 is because they gave up on waiting for Angelina Jolie. Sounds like it's either going to be Rachel Weisz or Rose McGowan now. I like Rachel Weisz but I can't picture her as Ava Lord at all, so hopefully they'll go with Rose McGowan since Rodriguez liked her enough that she is in both segments of Grindhouse. Been a fan of her since The Doom Generation. |

| Ava Lord is practically the definition of trashy. She just happened to marry up in a big way and cleaned up well. Her personality is pure trash though, and that's why I have an impossible time picturing Weisz in the role. |

| There should be plenty of Marv in Sin City 2, since it's more of a prequel than a sequel. In terms of the comic timeline, Marv getting executed is just about the last thing that happens in the entire series. Don't think Hartigan is going to be in it much though, which is too bad. I would've been a lot more interested in a good new Hartigan story rather than a Nancy Callahan story that picks up after Hartigan's death (which is what the new material Frank Miller wrote just for the movie supposedly is). |

+15 Internets | Only way the Nancy storyline will interest me is if she does it nude. Alba and Madsens horrible acting in the first nearly ruined parts of greatness for me. Hartigan was great, I really wish there was more of him, but if he spent all that time in a cell I guess there's nothing to tell. I don't care much for Clive Owen's character, and I'm worried I won't be in love with Marv anymore since he took me as such surprise, but I still eagerly await this.
