Grind House noun A downtown movie theater - in disrepair since its glory days as a movie palace of the ‘30s and ‘40s - known for “grinding out” non-stop double-bill programs of B-movies. From groundbreaking directors Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez comes the ultimate film experience: a double-bill of thrillers that will recall both filmmakers favorite exploitation films. Sin City was an amazing movie and Quentin is an amazing director. Will for sure be watching this movie.

How long will Grindhouse be?

At this point, reports are varied. It's changed over time (originally, each movie was to be 60 minutes), most recently, it's been decided that the entire feature (both flicks and the trailers) will add up to being around three hours long.

Frankly, sir, you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about.

If this duo can truly capture the cheesy/funny grindhouse movie feeling, 20 years after the fact, then more power to them. It's quite a challenge as a director to perfectly capture a bygone era of moviemaking, but Robert Rodriguez succeeded in capturing film noir with Sin City, and while I think the grindhouse feeling would be even more difficult to recreate, I believe Tarrantino and Quentin would be up to the challenge.

Here's to hoping they do. Grindhouse movies were great.

I think I'll branch out to making condescending posts towards ill-conceived cinema projects too.

I understand it's an homage to the double/triple feature slasher/zombie B-list movies from the 1960/70's

Unsurprisingly, it still sounds like shit. Keep polishing the turd, though. This one is going to need a lot of elbow grease.

Some people have different likes. It had the feel of the movie "The Crow." Alot of dialogue and some action.
