I keep getting the broken icon when trying to view quicktime streams on this comp - something about bad public atoms or whatever - my Quicktime is up to date.

Grr.

Indeed, an undiscovered talent untill recently, he is an awesome actor, im glad now he is finally getting some main stream movies.

Heh, actually he's a child-actor done right. I didn't realize it till I saw it again recently, but Christian Bale was the little British kid in Steven Spielberg's Empire of the Sun which was a pretty big film. He's been doing films since then but didn't re-emerge into Hollywood prominence till recently.

Every child actor of the eighties and ninties was in Newsies I think.

As far as "the Prestige", it looks bad ass, and Nolan is directing so it gets points for that as well.

I had QT 7, which is the latest, but was getting that problem as well. I reinstalled and it worked. Maybe they broke something and did a stealth patch or maybe you need iTunes, which I deleted after the first time I installed.

Good trailer though. Movies set in that time period don't interest me much but this is something I want to see.

For the first few seconds I could swear this was turning out to be a film adaptation of Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, but it sadly it isn't. Same period though, and same subjects (duelling 18th-century magicians). Nolan would've been a good choice for a director.
