What's the budget for this movie?

All the special effects for it look so well done that it looks expensive, making it such that the movie can't have constant things blowing up awesomeness.

I have one you can borrow, but only to travel to the future... you aren't allowed to use it to travel back in time to warn yourself not to travel to the future to see this movie after you are disappointed because that will cause I really scary paradox and thus make time cease to exist.

Same here....I'll go see it still sadly...but Michael Bay shouldn't have done this movie. It should have been a director that was a fan of the 80's show. I have a feeling this is gonna be like War of Worlds. All special effects while the story sucks ass.

No Soundwave? bleh...He was one of the coolest Transformers from the Gen 1 Series. Hopefully we'll get the Dinobots and the Constructacons in the next one.

LOL...I just found this. The kid with the green eye's wouldn't fly today I think.

Transformers Constructacons - Commercial

Well, I might be wrong about Transformers. Who knows. I just have a pet peeve with commercials masquerading as entertainment. It just ruins the fun to have advertisements shoved down my throat at every opportunity.

would you rather have vehicles you don't recognize or don't exist so you cannot connect with them? if they were alien vehicles, they wouldn't blend in very well would they?

Even the cartoon used real vehicles from real auto companies.

OMG THEY SOLD OUT TO VOLKSWAGEN AND NISSAN!

Option 1: Use real vehicles like the preceding Transformers material and keep continuity.

Option 2: Pander to Drajakur and use completely new vehicles, deviating from the subject material and effectively ruining the plotline.

Go back to looking for gay Xerxes pictures, Drajakur.

I don't mind them using real vehicles, even recognizable ones. What I do mind is film-makers framing shots specifically in order to illustrate or centre a particular brand or logo (a brand or logo which, I might add, tends to be unusually shiny and clean in comparison to the rest of the set).

I find this practice invasive and pernicious, particularly because I have to put up with advertising in nearly every domain of life nowadays, and when it also takes over my alleged 'entertainment', it really gets on my nerves. I just don't enjoy being treated like a consumer at every possible turn, especially when doing so compromises the integrity of a scene. Given that this is a MBay movie, I can expect this to happen routinely and that turns me off in advance.

It amazes me how you mindless drones don't even recognize the difference between using a regular vehicle in a scene and attempting to advertise a vehicle by way of the scene....pathetic.

P.S. So you agree that King Xerxes is King of The Ghey eh?
