story sucked. acting sucked. pacing sucked.

but the moment prime whipped out sword hand and straight daniel pearl'd that fucking decepticon i was sold. the action literly saved the movie, the humor was a nice break from a terrible story though. overall it felt like ID4 with giant robots.

The scene in the yard was kinda annoying but he did need to add something to humanize the Autobots or at least make the audience like them if they dont know anything about Transformers.

All the action was great though, and yes Prime doing a Voltronesqe "Form Blazing Sword" on Bonecrusher was great.

Yep. One of the first things I said when we left and had lunch and talked about it was about that scene. It seemed to never end, they really wanted to beat the last drop of funny out of that scene

If a second one is made they are talking about not only putting the Dinobots in but also the Constructicons. Which iirc Bonecrusher is the left arm of Devastator.

Edit: upon further searching sectorseven it shows a few other transformers.

Opening scene totally demands a Mechwarrior movie.

They don't even have to go that in-depth. Just explain that the inner's are fighting the clans (or whatever), and focus on a battle on one planet.

Think some of the classic WW2 movies. They focus on just one battle (or one pretty short campaign) in a huge war. You don't need the entire war in ONE movie.

Edit: Oh right. Movie was totally awesome. Don't miss it.
