| Thanks for the links...those things look nothing like Transformers, but remind me a lot of some mech anime I saw back in the late 90's. I realize that the cartoon models would've looked like crap in CG, but they needed to keep more plating and differentiate it from the robots' "muscles" or whatever you'd call them. Bumblebee's a good example of this, the model's not bad at all.

| I don't agree that the cartoon models would have looked like crap in CG. Why? The Masterpiece versions of Prime and Starscream. Those renditions of the G1 style would have been absolutely fantastic on the big screen. Most of the Alternators versions would work great as well with a few tweaks. |

+19 Internets | I think they look great. It's not like the animators of the cartoon wouldn't have made robots this detailed if they could have fucking drawn it. Personally I'm excited. This looks badass. - H |

Transformers Masterpiece - Transformers Toy Galleries Tons of great shots of Prime and Starscream there. I actually don't care too much for Masterpiece Megatron and I don't think he'd work well at all in a movie like that, but Masterpiece Prime and Starscream are near perfect. | |

| Btw, I don't think the movie will suck and I am indeed looking forward to it. I just wish I could see Prime in his real almighty glory. =( And it totally needs a scene where Prime goes "Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost" then You've Got the Touch plays and he starts kicking decepticon ass on an unforeseen level of awesome... A man can dream. |

| I need to find the tapes for my friends original "Soundwave" and "Blaster"? I hope the movie doesn't suck but I gave up really really hoping after some of the past debacles we have had recently. G.I. Joe being hardcore rated R is never gonna happen. They would kill their market which would be dads taking their sons to see it. |
