| Plugged In Like Neo | Bridge to Terabithia This probably isn't a movie any of you guys will be interested in..but it was my favorite book when I was a kid. Walt Disney Pictures' Bridge to Terabithia If anyone knows the story, don't give it away =P Its a pretty depressing book. |

| Ok, that preview totally lost me. So you took the imaginations of the characters of the two kids and turned them into a ton of CGI for a story that is a gigantic downer? Really, I have no idea why children's books have to be so horrible. Between this and Charlotte's Web coming out a whole new generation of children can get scarred. Why not rerelease a digitially remastered Old Yeller and go for the trifecta?

| BBS movie None of you ever saw the BBC (I think it was them) adaptation of this? I think I have that on a ooollllddddd vcr tape from the mid 80s but I'm completely clueless as to how to convert that to some other media :P Was a very good story and I don't think I ever even read the book. Ahh here it is DVD Empire - Item - Bridge To Terabithia / DVD-Video Last edited by Mystrak : 12-11-2006 at 10:07 AM. |

Anyway, I didn't know that this book was a staple book in schools. I never read it in school, and most of the people I know have never read it either. Sorry to jump to conclusions James! | |

| She's no Emma Watson. Looking like a decent kids flick though. Never heard of the story.

| My God...a fantasy movie I might actually get my wife to go see with me. This was one of her favorite books as a kid too. For some reason, this often got the "girl book" stigma ala "a wrinkle in time", thus in my impressionable youth, I didn't pick it up. Now I might go read this...the trailer looks good. |

| Plugged In Like Neo | I just bought the book for my best friend's 11 year old daughter. Its a really short book (much shorter than I remember it being!) I think it would take a couple hours tops to read. Definately worth it though, I don't see it being a 'girl's book' really. |
