Its Verily the Pixies. I have "Death to the Pixies", it is on there. Sadly I dont have Surfer Rosa, the album it first appeared on. Just Death and Bossanova

I highly recommend the pixies, they fucking rule. Very late 80's early 90's. And they really sounded nothing like the music that was created in those horrible horrible years. Which made them so damn great.

I'm a huge Pixies fan...I'm pretty sure that was the original.

If you want a good starter album of theirs to pick up, try Doolittle (though it doesn't have that song). If I ever made a top 10 albums of all time list, it would be near the top.

Yea, nothing like that horrible music that was Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains.

I'm not sure if Raytes is being sincere or sarcastic, but hey -- no grunge bashing. Grunge was, in my opinion, the best MAINSTREAM musical movement in the history of United States. Bands like the Pixies, Fugazi, etc. are a huge reason for that as well. I recall reading an interview with Kurt Cobain, and him saying that Pixies were one of his major musical influences.

The Pixies were before grunge and considered one of the biggest influences on it. Kurt Cobain admitted the fact that Smells Like Teen Spirit was his attempt at ripping them off. The kinda sad thing is they broke up right before they could cash in on the movement, though their Bassist, Kim Deal, cashed in a bit with her next band, The Breeders.

I wish they would get back together. Frank Black and The Breeders are ok on their own, but when they were together they were unbelievable.

I was talking more about the Late 80's. Ya know... the glamour rock big hair bands.
