For me, my numero uno was in American History X
The Face Curbing that is done on the banger

I can't watch the "The Thing". The 1983 John Carpenter movie. That is the scariest most disturbing film ever.

I imagine Actovus as some really angry, little guy in RL with blood pressure thru the roof and a gigantic, throbbing vein on his forehead that is always on the verge of bursting. One of these days Searyx or I will just push him over the edge and he'll have a total meltdown on the boards. I can't wait for that day.

And I must agree with the curb check. Just the thought of that makes me shudder.

Makes sense, doesn't it? For the thickheaded, I shall explain:

There is no reason to hate a person simply because he has dirty thoughts. However, if that person rapes your child, then you have a reason.

Hating someone with a sickness that he has suppressed and refuses to act on is irrational and unwarranted.

Taurean - Just see the movie. It's by no means perfect, but it is well done. Ed Norton + Ed Furlong were outstanding. You don't have to wait too long for the curbing scene, but you will cringe.

Russell Crowe and his cronies beating the asian girl in Romper Stomper was pretty powerful. It's an incredible movie, I highly recommend it.

I've never seen the movie but curb checking is when you kick someone's ass to unconsciousness or near to it, then open their mouth and place it on the curb. Then, stomp on the back off their head a few times. Goodbye teeth, goodbye jaw, hello reconstructive surgery.

But basically any scene that has someone cutting themselves with a razor blade... I don't know why. Even the scene in Royal Tenebaums made me cringe.

And yea, I think that this is a bit different than the disturbing thread. To me being disturbed, it lasts a long time in your head, and won't leave. This it can be something that just briefly made you queesy or whatever.
