Jesus Christ. I'm now getting negs for shit that I posted in 2006. Well, I guess we don't have a grandfather clause in effect, so I guess I'll come out and defend Tom's honor.

It's not about his stupid fucking songs. And I tell you this, if you couldn't suffer through Tom Bombadil's song in the Hobbit then there's no way you endured the pain of reading 3 (6, if you want to be technical) more books following that easy going tale. Sure, watch a movie or 3. Enjoy them. Then shut the fuck up since none of us are literary masters. But for fuck's sake, it's a book... and he's a rather important figure in the series, even if he's just mentioned briefly. He sets up the entire story with the ents.

Old crazy mother fucker that's been alive so long he's.... crazy? Sure, he's going to sing annoying songs. I'm sure your grandmother does the same shit. You just ignore her too. So fuck you all for hating Tom Bombadil. It wouldn't kill the movie to have him make an appearance and save them from a freakin' tree that's trying to be all bitter and suck them into itself. If he sings a song, you know what? Who the fuck cares. Really...
