| I am extremely excited about this recent bit of news. To recount: there was previously going to be two movies, one dealing with the events in The Hobbit and one dealing with the gap of time between the end of The Hobbit and the beginning of LotR. This second movie always struck me as an enormous cash grab, and I was dreading the liberties they'd take in giving that time frame narrative structure and making it cohere. The new plan, for both movies to be 'The Hobbit' films with other, coeval subjects being treated (the White Council, the expulsion of 'The Necromancer'), is so much more appealing to me. Color me amped. |

| Me and my band sung the songs to various pop soundtracks as we read the books together in costume, and acting out the fight scenes. WTF.. people read those stupid songs? Of course you skip them, they're senseless. |

+31 Internets | I think I snatched it from the bargain bin at Wal-Mart but...there are other quite obvious sources...Amazon.com: The Hobbit: Orson Bean, John Huston, Brother Theodore, Cyril Ritchard, Richard Boone, Hans Conried, Otto Preminger, Paul Frees, Jack DeLeon, Don Messick, John Stephenson, Thurl Ravenscroft, Arthur Rankin Jr., Jules Bass, Masaki Īzuka, J.R |
