| Braveheart & Gladiator Both movies were about a man who had the dearest thing taken away from him. In the end of Braveheart, when he was getting cut up, was a happy-sad. He was looking at the little girl... then he sees his wife walking in the crowd... such a good feeling. Same thing for Gladiator, even though it was done a bit lame. |

When he's with his wife down in the lowest depths of hell... and he realises he would rather spend an enternity with her there than to go back up to heaven... Or when he realises Cuba Gooding is his son... or the oriental lady is his daughter... amazingly well done movie... *sniff sniff* -J

| Watership Down. Best line in any movie ever. General Womwort: "Bigwig, why throw your life away?" Bigwig: "My Chief told me to defend this run." You kinda got to see it to understand the context it was used in. After 20+ viewings, it still makes me want to stand up and cheer.

| Good calls so far. One scene that makes me cry no matter how many times I see it is when Lindsay is being revived in The Abyss. Very powerful scene, well shot, well acted and well scored (very little music). I actually did my senior english paper on this movie and showed this scene as my sample.

![]() Armageddon? The Patriot? Independance Day? They're not tear-jerkers. They try to extract tears with a syringe while holding you down. It's like that goddamn Pearl Jam remake: Oh where oh where could my baby be? The lord killed her in a nasty crash, and I hate that, and I had blood in my eye, but I found my dead bitch, and she was really dead, and it SUCKED and I was so mad, and god had my girl KILLED and he gashed her up in a CAR I couldn't see from the BLOOD but she was like, all DEAD and she told me to hold her for her last kiss and it just plain SUCKED and then she died and I cried, and oh lord you had to take her away you SUCKED! I fucking hate that song.
