The WHOLE movie had you holding back tears? Did you just happen to be peeling onions in the theater at the time?
Well, more scenes then I care to try and name / remember. There were literally very few points in the movie where I didn't want to let it all go.

I've never cried during a movie...but in Trigun, when Wolfood died, that was pretty sad.

The Princeton tradition of when a proffessor is honored by his peers for a great achivement (or lifetime of) by each of them givin the person in question his pen. It happens twice in the movie.

right there with you on Dead Poets Society, when i first saw it i wanted to stand up on the couch with them , i was like 13 and hysterical.

Braveheart what got me the most was when the soldiers would take the girls away on their wedding night. I couldnt stop crying for them.

The latest though is the previews for Moonlight Mile. When Susan Sarandon talks about this warm body on her right ( ive seen this twice in the theater now and i start crying and then when Dustin Hoffman says to Jake Gyllenhaal maybe i can tell you the things i never got to tell her and kisses his forehead as hes trying to hold back the tears ) i just start crying .

Yeah

I have to admit I cried during Braveheart. Didn't cry during Gladiator. Cried during English Patient. I've discovered that if I cry during a movie it will likely win best picture. Which isn't wrong I suppose.

.

Now I remember, the movie was Hearts in Atlantis. The scene at the carnival where he kisses the girl and the scene at the end when he's old made tears stream down my cheeks like a woman.

The forrest gump scene when he drops the note on Jenny's grave from his son.

Also in Tombstone when Doc says "If you're my friend, you'll leave." I was in tears the whole scene.

The Neverending Story...

I typically hate to bump dead threads, but I just got done watching The Neverending Story on DVD, and I have to say, the scene where Atreu's horse, Artex, dies in the Swamp of Sadness is easily one of the most tearjerking scenes in children's film.
