I think you mean Francis Ford Coppola.

Yea Francis Ford Coppola. I always thought it was Mario Puzo...did Mario Puzo write it originally? I knew he was very important in the making of it...but I'm not sure what. /shrug

He wrote it.

If you want to find out things like that yourself, go the http://www.imdb.com

It's easy to navigate and find the answers you want.

You probably know exactly who I mean.
You are talking about Kevin Smith, also of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back fame.

Stupidly enough, I had NO clue he was Silent Bob until I watched Jay and Silent Bob. Regardless, he is probably my favorite director too.

I kinda like Frank Darabont, even thou he dont direct much. Notable movies so far are Shawshank Redemtion, Green Mile and The Majestic. Think he is going to direct Indiana Jones 4.

If I had to name one, Ridley Scott.

Blade Runner, The Duelists, Legend, Alien, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Black Rain. Nice resume. I forgive him for Hannibal and White Squall.

Michael Mann, David Fincher, M. Night Shyamalan, James Cameron, Alfred Hitchcock, Sam Raimi, Peter Jackson and Joel Coen all rank pretty high.
