nothing was added, thats the same table just with a different lighting angle. look at the first pic then the third again.

Wasn't stark the guy who found and unfroze cap ??? Cap in WW2 had a way different shield in the beginning and after he was unfrozen he got the round shield made of Vibranium or true adamantium forgot wich one..

An Easter egg. Let's be honest here... superhero/comic book movies are not subtle. If it had any real relevance, it would have been more obvious.

This is the era of the Internet. I'd put 1 frame of easter egg in a movie and expect on the t00bz within 24 hours as a movie maker today. Especially with something like a friggin' comic movie.

Really? The slight lighting angle change made a red and white striped shield with a star in the center appear out of nowhere? That's some crazy lighting. Maybe the camera angle slight change could do it though, except it's right on the edge of the table and not on some freshly exposed piece.

Little better pic here with highlights by me for those of you who seem confused by it's shape and colors.

Confusing part is that it looks like it's in the process of being made still, not just some collector's type item like I first thought.

I've seen people arguing that when Tony first flies and tells Jarvis to check the skies or whatever you can see a graphic of the X-plane pop up, but others say it was just a normal SR-71 blackbird.

Either way, pretty sure it's just a little toss in for the fans.

I don't know about being made still. Not nearly enough to make a call like that.
But what can be seen is, its not a flat shield.
The star is raised. And the white stripe is sunken.
I probably could ask Adi about it..

The star is missing a point on it so its not a star and the white part is clearly raised up, the circle thing on the bottom left of it has nothing to do with the shield. Yall are reaching a bit far for Cap-America lovin.

You're right, it's probably a hub cap. Shaped like Cap's shield. And colored like it.
