Man following the amazing saga that was Civil War was going to be a hard task for anything/anyone but the Skrull series has REALLY not blown fire up my skirt yet. The whole thing has this humor to it that's almost seems unintentional which makes it very hard to read, let alone like.

The Skull Kill Kult team alone seems about as realistic and serious as the Mall-Based vampire killing group from The Lost Boys.

BTW, currently about 20 minutes into the the flick on Watch-Movies.net. So far, very impressed. RD Jr. is already blowing me away.

The Skrull power emulation thing is odd. We can only surmise that they cannot copy powers to their full extent - else why make anything save Illuminati gestalts, or Thors? That must be the rationale, otherwise there'd be no point in even trying to be subtle. Who the fuck would need subtlety when you can mass-produce the most powerful heroes on Earth?

Ya know I cant remember his name and looking on IMDB has failed me as well, but the mechanic from "Adventures in babysitting" who was regarded as Thor by the girl would have been an awesome choice I believe. I just remember him just looking the part of Thor when she gave him her hammer and hat.
