Random question. Can someone fill me in on the whole world war hulk thing. I read until he got the ship and was coming back to earth to fight: blackbolt, porf. x, Iron man, Dr. Strange, and the fantastic four. Did he ever kick blackbolts ass on the moon? just looking for a fill in. havn't read them in almost a year.

the first member of illuminati he fights is Blackbolt. the fight is not fully showed, but BB and Medusa confront him on the moon surface. Blackbolt use his word power. for a moment it seems hulk is defeated only to jump on them. later, Ironman says BB hitted hulk with a blast strong enought to blow on space a huge chunk of moon but hulk didnt even feel it.

he then appears over manhattan and using an hologram he shows what he suffered on Sakaar and why he's here, then give a warning: 24h to evacuate the city. the next day he wants the illuminati to be there, or he will trash the planet (showing the bloody beaten Blackbolt)

during these 24h he goes to X-men mansion to confront Xavier asking what he would have voted if he was with the illuminati when they have chosen to send him in space. Xavier replies he would not agree with the decision, but he would have voted "yes" anyway.

almost the entire mutant race attack hulk to protect xavier, only to be easely beaten (he broke colossus arms, and resisted a cyclop point-blank-full-force optic blast with easy). at the end, hulk leave xavier alone, considering the disappearing of his race an enought cruel punishment

he goes back to manhattan after the 24h warning and basically fight against every single marvel character. the first one is Ironman in his Hulkbuster armor (an ultrapowered armor he "wears" over his normal armor).

he then defead the avengers with his warbound.

then, he attacks the F4. he just shrug off a human torch's pointblack-nova-attack + Storm's lighting combo, beat the Thing with 1 hit and destroy invisible woman forcefield in 3 hits (owning mr fantastic immediatly after)

all of them are captured with a control disk.

the last to attack him is dr strange who had infused himself with the power of the demon Zom. only to be beaten too

once all the enemies are gathered, he start his revenge forcing them to relive the pain he suffered on saakar, making the illuminati fight the beasts he fought the first day, then fighting against each other like he did in the lavapits. When mr fantastic was about to hit stark (forced by the controll disk) he stops. showing that his goal was not kill anyone (no one has died so far infact) but to show to the world what kind of assholes they are

he said something like: "no one has died by our hands, and no one will. now we will going to destroy this city and leave you in shame", tony however warns him another time to stop, or he will suffer the consequences. The warning comes in the form of The Sentry, who destroy hulk's ship and attack him (so far the sentry was showed hiding in his house not wanting to attack hulk. Infact, seeing how powerfull hulk has become, he feared to confront him and lose the controll of his own powers. When he sees reed richards and tony forced to fight in the arena however he decide to fight).

Sentry for the first time use his full powers losing controll like he had feared. threating to destroy the entire city. the fight was so evenly matched that their powers are consumend and they are forced to go back to their human form. Banners win landing a last punch, knoking human-sentry out

With banner back, it seems the war was going to end, but Miek (the insect friend of hulk) wound rick jones to piss off banner and force him to trasform again. Hulk beats miek and miek confess he was the one who always forced hulk to keep fighting, whenever he wanted to stop. He was infact the one who changed his mind when Hulk wanted to go in the Saakar's wasteland and live alone, and when Red King's followers placed a broken core on hulk's shuttle to kill him, he didnt warn anyone, knowing Hulk would survive, only to seek revenge against earth.

He did this because he wanted hulk not to become the Saakar's son, but the worldbreaker, destroying everyone and everything and a nichilistic rage

He's successfull. with this revelation, feeling betrayed by the only ppl he considered companions, hulk lose control of his power, releasing so much energy he caused a sism just making a step.

he's knocking uncounscious with a satellite attack but i cant remember what it was. some kind of ultimate doom machine stark had made as a last resource.

it ends with the warbound fleeing (minus Miek who is captured), rick jones in hospital, and banner captured and placed in a military base

That's not exactly why he leaves the X-men alone. It's part of it, but not the whole thing and ties a lot more in with why the hulk was fighting (death of his entire new found family, aside from the warbound).

During the fight, he has dismantled the xmen, and the new xmen join the brawl (younger people, teenagers who are at the school to learn and train). In pursuit of one (mercury I think), they stumble upon the graveyard where about 50 new xmen are buried (40 or so who were killed in a rocket attack by the purifiers), from their conflicts with the purifiers and other various people in the months between Decimation and WWH.

Hulk at that point sees they are fighting for their very existence, and leaves. Ok, I guess that is pretty much the same reason given above, but it wasn't just "he beat them up and quit", he would have kept fighting if not for finding the GY.

I wish I was a mutant with powers like Franklin Richards (pre-nerf). Then I could make all you suckers bow down to me, and pay me tribute (and cash), or I'd blow you (and your family) up with the power of my mind.

EDIT - well, technically, Franklin Richards wasnt a mutant, but something more. he was the closest thing a human can be to a cosmic being. the celestials themself considered him their equal. he created a universe after all....

I always wished they killed off the FF4 except for the human torch. I mean they were pretty lame with the exception of torch. The writers knowing this say well fuck we gotta do something to make these guys suck less. So the kid of two people with lame powers turns out to be the equiv of jesus...

the funniest thing about the hulk vs. Xmen fight was how Wolverine tried to be badass and got knocked through half the state.

Odin/thanos are dead. Before he was subdued in WWH he almost destroyed the planet taking a single super pissed off step. For the dude asking about why they didnt replicate hulk.
