| Pride Never Die | I think he's a really good actor. In an Interview with a Vampire he really made Louis "his" character. I wish Cruise and Pitt would team up again and make "The Vampire Lestat"(my favorite book of the series).

| Haha that reminds me.. I was playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance earlier today and I'm talking to Spider-Man and he's complaining that the mission we have is just damn impossible and that he's tired of always facing incredibly dangerous foes (Odinpower Dr. Doom in that case). At that point, you have the option to tell him "With great power.." and he cuts you off saying "If you finish that sentence, I'm gonna shoot so much web in your hair you'll have to shave your head". Thought that was quite a nice touch. |

Watch cap fighting spiderman in civil war. even when completely overpowering spiderman (including bypassing the spider sense for a large part) spiderman was completely overthrown by the sheer respect he had for Steve Rogers. Hell, even the PUNISHER refused to fight him because he respected cap too much. Cap was a symbol, He was WAY more then a guy in a suit with a funky shield. Superheroes respected him, enemies feared him. He did step away from his goody goody image before civil war, going under the alias of Nomad. As for Iron man getting the snot beaten out of him by Thor. Why do you think Iron man even stands half a chance vs. a GOD. It's technology vs. one pissed off deity. a god of THUNDER vs. a guy in a metal suit. iron man never stood a chance. | |

That is, until Pak took over and created World War Hulk. The only unfortunate part of it, was Hulk returning to earth. It was nice to see him absolutely wreck Dr. Strange and Iron Man, but I liked the idea of him becoming a Conan-esque type king on some other planet, where his limitations could be challenged in different ways, as opposed to the same tired shit he faces on earth. Also, on the Thor run, its a great series. The art is stellar, and the story is starting to read like something from George R. R. Martins fucked up sense of storytelling....you know....slow passage, bunch of action, something really fucked up, repeat. PS> Forgot to add Captain America Tells you Capts History. The short version is he was injected with a super-soldier serum that forces his body to regulate at peak performance. Says he benches around 800lbs, pretty fucking haus imo. | Yea Cap doesn't suck, he's absolute peak human perfection in every physical aspect. Squats 1,000, runs a 3.8 etc, not someone that other human-based heros would mess with idly. He ever fight Batman? That would amuse me. |

| For anyone that cares, when Batman and Captain America met up, they decided that they could fight each other for days without a resolution, because they were so evenly matched. While all the other Marvel and DC heroes were fighting, Batman and Cap decided to team up and plot against the cosmic entities that were pulling the strings. It was the only Marvel/DC fight that didn't have an ending. |

I vaguely remember Captain America falling/being pushed into something after a hard-fought battle with Batman (a sewer full of rushing water or something?), and batman deciding to save him rather than let him die so that they could team up and figure out what was going on. There was no real, definite ending where one guy is KOed like Hulk vs. Superman, or Thor vs. Captain Marvel, but Batman had the battle won because Captain America was about to die. Like I said it's been a while, but I could have sworn on those little scorecards they had that "Batman beats Captain America" was there. Either way, it's all semantics because they did end up teaming up. But does anyone have a scan of that fight? I'm curious to reread it just for nostalgia's sake.
