| Robert Redford was born to play captain america. Too bad hes 106 now. Honestly of the main avengers Thor is the one that requires the least talented actor. I would rather see Pitt as Cap than thor personally, let them make thor some swede that looks the part, like vladimir kulich or even mads mikkelson. Gerard Butler would be decent (as cap) if he could pull off an american accent, but i'm not too hopeful for that. He's more intelligible in 300 than he is irl. If I had a superhero casting wish list it would be something like this: Iron Man: Downey Hulk: Norton Thor: Some random swede/Val Kilmer Cap: Brad Pitt/Kurt Russell (if they can make him look younger) or maybe even Thomas Hayden Church Dr. Strange: George Clooney Hank Pym: Matt Damon Wasp (who the fuck is wasp):that vulcan chick from Star Trek Enterprise. Nathan Fillion would be a cool Hawkeye Cameo.

| Am I missing something or do you not realize that Batman is part of the Justice League of America in the DC universe and not part of the Avengers in the Marvel universe?

| Kurt Russell would've made a good Captain America around the age/look he was doing Stargate, but not nowadays. Gary Oldman would be a cool Dr. Strange.

Was sort of an inside joke to the fact that initially the suit was a robot bodyguard to the press like in the movie,and he wasn't actually outsted as Tony Stark in a suit for some time which the movie deviated from,though it makes sense. Get Viggo Mortensen ,dye his hair blonde and have him be Captain America. I know nothing about the character but Viggo has that aged appearance while also being very physically fit and isn't attached to any comic book roles. | |
