+1 Internets | And why are people saying Robert Downey signed up for 3 movies so he HAS to play in the avengers ....Like it's a big punishment to star in what may well be one of the biggest movie productions ever....let alone one of the most xpensive if you see how much star power they fielded only to get to the point where Avengers starts ? They already have Downey, Jackson and Norton. Not the smallest names in the business. They will have to go all out on Thor and Cap or they will risk the end result, the Avengers movie. The guy playing Thor has to be able to carry a MASSIVE personality. I mean, he's a fucking GOD. You just cannot put a mindless drone with steroids rotting his brain away on the spot and say " here bud read this out loud and swing that hammer, it's ok if it's not convincing, look at that sixpack!" The next problem will be finding someone ready willing and able to play what is most likely one of the biggest icons in comic book history next to Batman and superman. A guy that was used to boost morale of the soldiers fighting a war. A guy who is larger then a god of thunder. Try to nail that part...everyone that pulls it off will become pretty much immortalised, but everyone will jump to the opportunity to burn him to the ground if he even slightly sucks. |

| Being in good shape, and sculpting your body to look good on camera are 2 different concepts. The diet and discipline have to be so strict, granted they have personal trainers and chefs up the wazoo..so it's not as hard as for them as it would be for us.=P

+1 Internets | well ... First name that comes to mind is Matt Damon.(haha yes ocean's 14 but let's forget that ocean's 11, 12 or 13 ever existed, wich is easy for ocean's 12) He looks like steve, can bulk up and he can fight. Scott Speedman maybe. But he's no A lister. I personally have no other options. It's really hard to imagine someone as steve rogers. It's the guy the punisher refused to fight. It's the guy who stood on the frontlines of everything and if he talked people listened. The actor has to be in his late 20's early 30's and american...biggest mistake would be to cast a brit or australian guy for cap. Gyllenhaal maybe ? |

| I wonder if Christian Bale is contractually obligated to not play the role of another superhero for X years.
