| Hank Pym, Scientific Adventurer=Awesome in a Can. Hank Pym, who slapped his psycho bitch wife ONCE, while enduring a total mental break down, and gets painted as a horrific spous-abuser, worthless pile pansy=Fail in a Can. Anyone who throws giant pocket change as a viable weapon is win. |

| I thought Tim Daley was a better looks choice...but Downey in that pic doesn't raise any problems in my head at all now. I always hate when they pick the wrong ass person and you spend the entire movie seeing that rather than the actual movie. |

+2 Internets | Second UA movie was shitass. First was OK, but I wish they'd just gone full out with the Ultimates storyline and not half assed it. Thought Downey would make a decent Tony Stark, looks-wise that picture doesn't dissuade me at all.

+2 Internets | God please don't fuck this up. If it's done right it could easily be the coolest superhero movie ever. Don't overdo the alcoholism angle. We get that every single hero is a tortured soul at heart, just don't go too crazy with it.

| Never read the Iron Man comics, though I am familiar with the character to a degree. Mostly from tie-ins to other comics I read (Punisher) . In any case, the glowing emblem on his chest, I have noticed it on the suit before but never thought much of it, looking at the pic of downey he has the glowing thing on his chest sans suit. I always thought Iron Man was a Stark invention via his company, Is the emblem some sort of power or soemthing? or is it just a fancy necklace? |

+1 Internets | So true. This really does have a ton of potential. As far as the initial aesthetics go, this movie looks very promising. Hell, after seeing Downey in Zodiac, I don't have any doubt in my mind that if he toned down the flamboyance and tuned up the suave, we'd have a superb Stark on our hands.
