+2 Internets | Watched it on the watch-movies.net link (thank you for that, by the way). Really good, entertaining movie. I just hope the sequels don't start going all Batman/Spiderman and try to fit 17 bad guys per movie. |

+21 Internets | I don't see how they can keep releasing movies that aren't intetconnected. It's getting pretty old where there's just one superhero in the whole world in each movie. Are we supposed to just ignore the fact that maybe Spiderman and Iron Man might watch the news and have heard of eachother? I know it's impossible to do with all the licensing and actors salaries and contracts and stuff, but it just seems funny that the movies all rely on us sorta believing that the superheroes exist in a vacuum (aside from the minor cameos of random other characters).

| Romo is a manwhore | RDJ makes an appearance in The Incredible Hulk as Tony Stark. Marvel is explicit about tieing all these franchises together, especially the ones linked into the Avengers. Avengers is going to be the most expensive movie ever made, just based upon the sheer amount of CGI that is almost necessary to bring each character to the screen. |

+4 Internets | That's not entirely true. It helps, sure, but animation, lighting, rendering, and compositing are huge on time and money. Plus, things change and they're always pushing for improvement, chances are they'll spend good money on R&D anyway.

| It also depends on the version of Avengers they choose. Marvel said they couldn't do New Avengers because they sold off the rights to most of the charachters. They said it would cost them $1 Billion to buy back all the licensing rights and would pretty much be the most expensive movie ever made. |

| With the Tony Stark cameo in the upcoming movie, I wouldn't count out the possibility of involving the Hulk in some fashion.

Then again, the whole Avengers movie could be around Hulk as the bad guy (coming together to stop him) and having him turn into the smarter Hulk towards the end and joining the team... would allow them to get away without really introducing any bad guys other than foreshadowing and save that for Avengers 2. Either way, will be a long 2 years. | |
