| The theatre busted out laughing at the 10% thrust factor. That fire extinguisher robot was hilarious too. RDJ nailed it and the The Dude was a slick villian. All in all a great comic book movie, up there with the original Batman, Batman Begins, Spiderman 1 & 2 and X2. |

+43 Internets | I was definitely skeptical of Jeff Bridges as the villain... he just has never seemed like an evil guy in anything I have seen him in, but he nails it to a T.

| This movie was awesome. I'd have to say one of the best lines was Pepper talking about "taking out the trash". The entire theatre went "ohhh" at that one. Damn that was cold, haha. Oh, and I'd go gay for RDJ after that performance. A++ will see again, and of course buy. |

| Best superhero movie yet. Saw it twice on opening night and it was just as good the second time. Of course, I didn't stay through the credits either time... /win Spoiler Alert, click show to read: |

| Since this is the hot Marvel thread of the day: Marvel's new plan for the next 3 or so years is such: "Marvel today updated its feature film slate strategy and plans for the next three years, locking in key release windows for its character franchises. In order to focus its attention on maximizing the success of an Iron Man sequel and the launch of Thor in the summer of 2010 and because Marvel believes that the summer is the optimal time to launch a new property, the Company will not release a self produced film in 2009. Marvel plans to launch its 2010 film slate with the release of the sequel, Iron Man 2, on April 30, 2010, followed by the launch of Thor on June 4, 2010. Additionally, Marvel is planting its feature film stakes for summer 2011 with an Avengers-themed summer – a two-picture project which will debut on May 6, 2011 with The First Avenger: Captain America (working title), followed by The Avengers in July 2011." So...fuck yeah. |

| When I went to see this Saturday, there was this one extremely overweight old comic nerd in the seat in front of us. He kept begging people to stay after the credits. It was like his time to shine because everyone he would ask to not leave, ended up staying. I've never seen so much excitement in one person in my life. Then Samuel L Jackson came on the screen, and everyone started laughing/shouting pulp fiction/snakes on a plane lines. I ended up watching this old comic nerd, and the look on his face was in total disgust because the theater didn't think it was as cool as he did ha ha.I'm sure he blogged it,and cried a little on his batman t shirt.
