| I thought it was pretty good, I cannot say it was amazing or anything because I ended up surrounded by half a dozen 4-5 year olds who never should have been in the goddamn theater. It lowered my enjoyment greatly. It also did a better job I thought than most of the latest gen of super hero movies of showing larger ties to the broader Marvel universe. Just a touch, which is better than the nothing that normally occurs.

| Very good. I like super-hero movies where the main character is built instead of just gifted. I'd give it a solid 2nd place standing behind Batman. The technology was amazing to look at, and believe it or not a lot of that stuff is be used already which is cool to think about. Only things I thought were weak was the storyline and last fight. The whole first part of the film set in Afghanistan was a bit too much in my opinion. I actually had a hard time going along with this. Even though Bruce Wayne was trained by ninjas high in the mountains, the tone of the film made it seem more realistic and plausible. Anyways, definitely one the top super-hero movies in the past decade or so.

Oh no, no worming out of this one tough guy. You said you weren't even going to watch it opening weekend because the trailers were so bad... you watched it AND you liked it.

+1 Internets | I thought it was mediocre. Not bad, but not great. There were just too many times were you had to go "yeahhh ok.. " for me, even for a superhero movie. It was also pretty boring and predictable. It would have been garbage without Downey Jr.6.5/10

please quote where i said the movie was bad, i said the trailer was bad and i would sneak into the movie meaning i wasnt going to pay for it. i saw the movie on the net, several sites have it up, meaning i didnt pay to see it. i didnt download it either, just watched the stream of the cam version. i liked the movie. it wasnt the be all end all like some of you are going on about, but it was good. BTW i hated the trailer for Hellboy but i loved every part of that movie, trailers should never be made by anyone but the director of the movie. incidentally im not going to pay to see speed racer either as i can wait just one more week for Prince Caspian and sneak into speed racer and Iron Man if i so feel like. i love my local cinema. there is only one usher at the matinee and hes a senile old man so never goes checking up on who goes into what. | |
