Johnson's a good actor, probably a lot more versatile than Ahnuld at this stage. He's not A-list material but he just needs the right movie to toss him up there into that area. The Rundown was his best one so far, but then again that movie was propelled into the stratosphere by Walken's 'Tooth Fairy' speech.

But for a guy that was a wrestler just a few short years ago, he's doing fairly well with himself, doncha think? Especially after all the other wrestlers in the past ended up being parodies of themselves, ala Hulk Hogan.

just saw ultimate avengers II and it has a sneak first look at their next two ANIMATED hero movies...

Iron Man and

Dr. Strange

they look pretty good.

lionsgate does a good job with the animated superhero movies- i have liked the first two UA movies...wish they'd do more with Thor...

shrug, i loved the rundown as well. Not every movie he's in is great, but I think he's definately got talent, and can pull off the action star well.

Anyway another person who would work imo would be guy pearce

for all his irl troubles with drugs and alcohol, downey jr. is a very good actor.

I think its a great casting choice, hes a great actor and can pull off the whole addiction thing with ease.

Haven't they said tho that the whole 'alcohol addiction' won't be covered in the first movie? I think Downey Jr. will do a pretty good job tho. When they do get to the whole alcoholic part, he'll nail it.
