Looks pretty fucking epic. All the suits look damn good.

When this movie comes out in may i will grab a big bucket of popcorn and 2 bottles of beer and hope and pray to god i can last the whole movie without having to pee halfway and miss a cool part....

I couldn't care less if the enemy is afghanistan or VC or the pope or aliens or my little pony, i want to be entertained and see shit blow up and see a guy fly in a red and gold iron suit making sarcastic comments.

I don't think its important to nitpick at a movie that is purely made to entertain. Sometimes movies are just that, Eyecandy. And if it's good eyecandy they deserve my 5$ for a ticket. I couldn't care less about some foreign movie where you exit the theatre and go ...wtf did i just look at, can someone please explain to me what the director was smoking?

Some movies try to be too clever for their own good. This movie isn't trying to be clever....its trying to make you go OOOH and AAAAH and OMG did you see that tank blow up!?!?!?
Particularly after seeing those pictures, I felt this was worth quoting again. Seriously, how can anyone look at those pictures and not have a boner (females excepted)? And while having said boner, hopefully any thoughts of "But wait, that couldn't happen in real life!" will be flushed from your brain by the lack of blood.

Looks like a fucking awesome movie, and I too will be hoping I don't rupture a bladder in the middle of it because I don't want to miss something awesome.

I don't find the need to nitpick shit if it'll work IRL, but I will say that after Star Wars ep 1, I don't 100% trust trailers, screenshots, etc. when it comes to measuring badassness.

Weird, all those pictures had a white smear in the middle of them...

Oh....
...
...
damnit! *wipes off monitor*

I can't wait until May. May is going to be such a win-filled month in my life for so many reasons, and seeing this movie is one of those reasons.

Anyone actually know the deal with the Iron man suit??? Is it all CGI is there a guy inside or what?

I mean, the new batman suit is the first time they have actually been able to turn the head, then seeing the iron man suit doesnt make sense to me..

Edit: New clip #2

It's a combination of real-suit and CG. There is at least one fully mobile Iron Man suit that is worn by Robert Downey Jr. and a whole pile of different arms, torsos, legs and helmets for shots that don't require the whole thing. There are probably other less detailed suits for the stunt actors.

Obviously the shots of him flying and or blowing up/crashing are composite green screen with some full blown CG assets.

The reason the batman head thing was such an issue was because the Batman suit has always shown the neck, shoulders and head as being one piece and the movies tried to re-create that. Iron Man's pre-production (even in the comics) has always shown the neck area as being distinct parts.

The costume designers said the hardest part to design was the crotch. Because in the comics he almost always has a strategically turned thigh hiding the area they were not 100% sure how to do it right.
