| isnt part of his idea to build the iron man suit he gets from having to wear the device near his heart to stop the fragments from killing him? its not like he had the idea for the iron man suit before he was captured but more as a result of being captured. I never read the series but thats what I remember hearing about the character living around other types of nerds

+1 Internets  | oh god are we seriously going to have a discussion here about the realism in a comic book adaptation??? When was the last time you saw someone sporting 3 adamantium knives from between his knuckles. What happened to "just enjoy the goddamn movie" and not worry about OMG that cannot hapen in real life what a goddamn hack!!! When this movie comes out in may i will grab a big bucket of popcorn and 2 bottles of beer and hope and pray to god i can last the whole movie without having to pee halfway and miss a cool part.... I couldn't care less if the enemy is afghanistan or VC or the pope or aliens or my little pony, i want to be entertained and see shit blow up and see a guy fly in a red and gold iron suit making sarcastic comments. I don't think its important to nitpick at a movie that is purely made to entertain. Sometimes movies are just that, Eyecandy. And if it's good eyecandy they deserve my 5$ for a ticket. I couldn't care less about some foreign movie where you exit the theatre and go ...wtf did i just look at, can someone please explain to me what the director was smoking? Some movies try to be too clever for their own good. This movie isn't trying to be clever....its trying to make you go OOOH and AAAAH and OMG did you see that tank blow up!?!?!?

| People will bitch, piss and moan about anything and everything. Some people will just never learn that some movies as stated above, are just for entertainment. Luckily though. Those of us that are intelligent enough to know a movie is for entertainment will enjoy it. Those who like to nitpick will never enjoy a film, which is fine.. cuz it's not my money the dumbasses are wasting.

| Also to nitpick the nitpickers he isn't going "in reverse" he was simply throwing up his air brakes. The pilots can't react that fast and thier planes are still going wtf ever speed they were currently flying. This is the same effect when you open a parachute, you don't go "up" when you open a chute the camera man is just still going down. |

| Actually the ground would be a better example of sudden stoppage and we can assume his forward movement was faster than the terminal velocity of falling. Since we all know people can just get up, dust themselves off and head to Starbucks after landing, he should have no problems.
