when i started to buy comics Marvel/DC usually covered most of the space of the entire store. now they have barely 25% dedicated to them while the rest is mangas and indipendents (cosider i live in italy tho. this is our situation, maybe yours is different

The situation in Italy is very different. The us comics are losing share but still control the market by a decent margin(I think I remember something like 200k manga to 500k us made, can't find where I saw that though so take it with a grain of salt.

Seems a little different than the other one but I could be misremebering.

It appears the major coflict will be Iron Man vs. another man in a suit built by the terrorists from whom he escaped and just happened to leave the plans behind. Very contrite plot device but if the battle is as good as it looks like it could be, then a-men.

i can enjoy action movies as anyone, but is it too much ask to leave stupidity and politics out of movies sometimes?

Its a variation of the actual Iron story line.
Not sure how the movie is going to play out but

Stark is captured in Afganistan(Updated from Vietnam) by terrorists. He builds the suit, escapes and kills them. Fights crime. Gets drunk, losses Stark industries, has Rhodes take over Iron man. Rhodes goes crazy, Tony builds a new Iron man. Rival builds Iron Monger. they fight.
Story gets stupid from retcons, time travel, and other stupid comic shit from this point on.
