+2 Internets | Yea its post-civil war. Its the new run that Thor is currently in. I added the 5 other pages as an after thought, so the sequence is indeed all fucked up. The lightning nuke is after the hammer hit, but before he picks him up. |

| basically: Thor returns after over 1 year. Asgard is destroyed. the other asgardians are trapped inside the bodies of mortals (i dont know exactly why, i think they did it to save themself after Ragnarok). He discover all the shit going on earth (civilwar etc) and basically say "fuck it" and recreated the entire Asgard city floating over american land (cant remember the exact state). So Tony arrives tell him "hey buddy" and ask him (then demand) to join the Human Registration Act and to put asgard under controll of usa governemnt Thor just rape him as you can see in those pages. After that scene Tony wimp down and tell him the government will accept a compromise. Thor has diplomatic immunity and asgard is considered a foreign country

| There is no internets | Blah, Thanks, I looked up what I could on Wiki. I hope to hell they evolve that post Civil War storyline. Being an old school comic collector it evokes some emotion from seeing Iron Man "sell out" big time. On topic: I saw the preview preceding Cloverfield. Having Black Sabbath on that, was just beautiful. I cant wait to see this movie.

+3 Internets | During the Civil War, Iron Man (and some others I think) brought out Thor and said "See, he's on our side! You should give up because he's our friend and he'll whup you bad if you don't!" and this Thor proceeded to kill one of the heroes on the other side of the war, which horrified everyone and had a big impact on both sides. In the final battle of Civil War, this Thor was finally beaten by Storm and one or two others, I forget, and he revealed to be some kind of cyber-clone-thing, not the real Thor (though many suspected this due to his odd behavior). It turned out Iron Man "made" this Thor-like creation (with a few more people) to use him (successfully) in the war both as a political and combat tool. Real Thor was dead during this whole Civil War thing, and after he came back to life (which, being a god made more sense than most people coming back) I guess he heard about everything that was done by Iron Man during Civil War, so when Iron Man shows up to inform Thor of "the way things are going to be" in Iron Man's heavy-handed totalitarian way to get Thor to fall into line with the new political climate regarding supers in the US, the sequence of events shown took place and Thor beat the living shit out of Iron Man and told him to fuck off. +7 Internets | Off topic of the film for a bit, but those comics made me a bit nostalgic. Haven't read comics in probably a decade now. Are they any good anymore? I heard a lot of people were pissed over the civil war arc. I went to marvels web page and it looks like you can read as many as you want with a monthly fee. Worth it yes/no? And would DC probably be a better choice? Marvel Digital Comics |

+3 Internets | Some titles/arcs are good, some are bad. I constantly hear everyone complain about all the Countdown stuff from DC, and there is a new Hulk arc starting a lot of people seem to dislike, the Spider Man comics just had a twist and people don't seem happy with them. On the other hand the new Thor is good, and I've enjoyed New Avengers so far, Green Lantern/Green Lantern Corps just had a great arc with the Sinestro Corp War which was good, so its kinda hit and miss I guess. $60/year for comics you don't have to find a place for after readng sounds good, but I can't tell if they have new ones or just old ones? |

+3 Internets | I'd like to know myself, but the website doesn't seem very helpful in explaining what you get for the $60/year. A freind mentioned this to me a few weeks back saying it will carry all the latest titles and expand back issues over time, but I can't see anything confirming that on the site. |

| Sorry for being slightly off-topic, I'm enjoying the Countdown series (a weekly DC publication). I tend to like the DC heroes more and I've always been a sucker for anything involving parallel/alternate realities. |
