The thor thing was yesterday's issue. Hulk was a couple months ago.

I personally think Tony Stark is a bit of a tool in the sense that his arrogant playboy, genius billionaire personality leaks over into everything he does (including his encounter with Thor) and I love his character for it.

Fuck, he is even an arrogant prick in the first 30 seconds of the trailer and it's great.

"Thats ridiculous, I dont paint"
"Yes, it is very cool to take a picture with me"
"No gang signs... Just kidding, throw it up"

Iron man is great.

To be fair, Thor and The Hulk rape most things.

Anyone got a rapidshit link for more of the current Thor run? I have not an Oink account, not that torrents work on my school network anyway =\

Okay wow, that Thor is post civil war I'm assuming? It sounds like I need to read that.

Thor relaunched in July with JMS as the writer. Its been a pretty good three issues so far.

And yeah, it takes place in the current "post civil war" universe, so that's why he fucked up Iron man.

No way. He HAD to ramp up the assholery in order to counter the sheer stupidity that was Capn America's side.

I can't think of a single thing IronMan did in Civil War that was bad, with the obvious exception of the whole "Cloned Norse Gods" thing.

Iron man did a ton of things wrong ..like jeopardising the Parkers by almost forcing spiderman to reveal himself (aunt may getting shot is practically his fault)

he put a ton of his best friends in a prison in the negative zone witch i totally against human rights...He got Goliath killed. He got Cap killed (yes i was cheering for cap)

He aided in shooting the hulk into space with ultimately leads to world war hulk.

sent swat teams that blew up city blocks at 12:01 into harlem to get Luke Cage the day of registration, among other mass-damage and destruction moves without provocation

had Ms Marvel kindap a baby and arrest the mother who were trying to jump the border to Canada

Almost caused a war with atlantis and still has missiles aimed on the underwater world.

Lied to everyone in his team repeatedly ..still does and Ms. Marvel is catching on.

In the prelude to civil war he hired the crimson dynamo??(i think) to stage an attack to force the superhuman registration act.

almost started a war with Wakanda because Storm took 2 steps out of the embassy

In the illuminati Way before the civil war he already mentions what needs to be done and how to take care of some of the stronger superhumans.

Cap was right, Tony stark is on a power trip and is slowly taking over america piece by piece. He completely ignored human rights and completely forgets about the damage he caused too.

The whole Civil War from build up to end was basicly a superhuman allegory for 9/11->Iraq war/Country Divided/challenge of civil liberties and how far we are willing to go to feel safe.

At some point Tony Stark and, too a lesser extent, Reed Richards decided they know best for how humanity needs to be "run" and have done everything they can to push it in that direction, from sending hulk away (Planet Hulk and WWHulk) to starting and orchestrating the entire Civil War arc (Civil war itself, staged attack on Atlantean Delegates, Death of Goliath by the hand of Cloned Thor, unmasking spiderman, etc).

There is very little going on in the Marvel universe right now that doesnt somehow involve the hand of Tony Stark in some way, even the Xmen are surrounded by Sentinal O*N*E*, who are made with StarkTech.

The 18 months or so have been pretty interesting as almost all the main marvel books have crossed paths and effected the world they live in. Unless you really hate ironman, then it's pretty much sucked.

the difference between tony and reed is that did all this based on mathematical predictions. It is showed in issue 544 i think. Basically he did this only because it was the very lesser evil of many possible futures

tony instead is pretty much sure its the right thing to do

that trailer fired me up about this movie, not a comic book fan but having black sabbath and filter on the trailer sold it for me. although they could have some PINK songs in there and it still would have looked good.

I thought this was pretty cool so i thought i'd share.

Want To Hear A Really Groovy Marvel Rumor? -- Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.

This is interesting, and it plays into something we’ve been saying for a little while here at AICN. We broke the story earlier this year that Sam Jackson will appear in IRON MAN as Nick Fury. I heard from a completely different source that there might be a similar scene in THE INCREDIBLE HULK, something that was added late in the process. Could it be that Marvel’s going to set up their eventual AVENGERS movie by connecting all these movies up via one character who approaches each of these heroes separately?

I’m not sure there really is a second Nick Fury appearance. But when I got this e-mail (edited a bit to protect the spy) today, it made me wonder anew... just how closely related are these worlds all going to be? I like this possible way of doing it far more than Warner’s proposed out-of-continuity JUSTICE LEAGUE film.

Anyway... check this out, grain of salt included unless we can verify it soon:

There are some fuzzy politics going on with the Iron Man and Hulk movies - they're shooting a scene TOGETHER! The trouble is, I can't tell if its an Iron Man scene with the Hulk in in or a Hulk scene with IRON MAN in it, more interestingly, it's possible that the SAME SCENE or some variation of it might be in BOTH movies lending to the comic book / single universe, many heroes idea seen in the past - uber cool.
