The Prophecy. On the surface, just another mediocre "Heaven, Hell, & Angels" movie, like City of Angels.

Hidden underneath, however, are several near perfect performances by Elias Koteas, Christopher Walken, and Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn in LotR) as well as some excellent dialogue.

It may not work as a whole, but in pieces, it's a masterpiece

The first two scenes in this clip are some examples of the dialogue. The second two scenes are of the main character's first meetings with Lucifer. Viggo has a LOT of fun with the roll of Satan here, with a good bit of juicy dialogue to boot.

This one doesn't seem as popular as the others. I probably should have cut it off when she says "I saw the devil tonight". Woulda made a great ending!
