| I dunno. The beast of smoke and fire...that wasn't quite how I thought the balrog would look, but since I don't actually have a concrete vision of what it should have looked like... Sauron, though. He was a big wanker. Not very impressive for a dark lord(I always forget who _the_ dark lord was) |

+31 Internets | I think he looked pretty kickass, actually. His helmet/crown whatever looked hella cool. But it shouldn't matter too much anyway, he will only barely be seen in the other movies, or should only barely be seen. He never takes physical form. |

| I thought Sauron looked amazingly similiar to how I'd always pictured him; a huge fellow totally clad in twisted, frightening looking armor. They pulled that off excellently, I thought. In fact, I really noticed nothing in the movie that was visually a sizeable departure from what I had pictured after reading the books. |

| In the past ages, yes it was Melkor/Morgoth, but I think he/she was refering to the time of LotR. I also thought Sauron looked pimp in the beginning. His all black armour suit was awesome, and his ass-kickery with a mace was even better. I do hope, however, that they keep him OFF SCREEN for the remainder of the movie, minus the Eye. Part of the menace of Sauron was that you never saw him, he didnt have any physical form so he was all around you sort of. I dunno, just my take on that ![]() |
