| I thought about this awhile.. .. and I remembered my first time seeing Se7en. It was really late and I was with my best friend. Every murder had it's tense parts, I won't say they didn't. I must admit though, when John Doe is talking to Brad Pitt and it finally sinks in for the audience what's in that box.. I started crying and mouthing, "no.. no" and I felt this heartwrenching ache for Mr. Pitt at that moment. I think he's underestimated as an actor. |

| hmm The most intense scene...In Dude, Where's My Car, as the character are about to finally meet the mysteiously Zoltan, the music works up to a crescendo and it's just so intense...yeah ... Really tho, in Lawrence of Arabia when Lawrence goes on a rampage against the fleeing Turkish troops at the end. I don't know, I just felt like I was betrayed in that scene and it sicks with me to this day. The righteous Lawrence proving he is human after all...

| Most Riveting/Intense scenes and segments. Waking Life... the music is excellent, the entire movie is brilliant. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the fight scenes were amazing. The Cell, heart pouding cinamatography. that's what this movie is all about, for those of you who missed the concept. the artwork is incredible. In the opening scene, where the horse turns to wood, and the wailing horns take you into insanity... god I love that scene. Lock Stock, and two Smoking barrels, what's not to love? the entire film is an adrenaline rush. Trainspotting, "I chose not to chose. I chose heroine." The Big Lebouski, "Mind if I do a J?" "Yeah, the old man said I can have any rug in the house!" Alice in Wonderland, "We're all mad here..." American Beauty, Kevin Spacey gets shot. Ronnin, Great action scenes. I love a good spy movie. Ghost in the Shell, Opening Scene, where she jumps backwards off the building, and turns invisible. I own too many movies... lol ~noruas mystical order

| damn... a lot of great scenes mentioned already... Of the ones mentioned, I've gotta go with the d-day opening of Saving Private Ryan, the lobby shootout in Matrix, and the torturous killing of William Wallace in Braveheart. Though for sheer dramatic intensity in Braveheart, the killing of his wife and the prison scene where he refuses the pain killer are up there too. I'm surprised Blackhawk Down hasn't come up yet. I can't think of a particular scene, but after watching it the first word I thought of to describe the movie as a whole was "INTENSE". It seemed like the shooting was never going to stop. Ishalim, please, take the flames somewhere else. We don't care about your links trying to prove what an a$shole Searyx is. We're talking about movies. There are more than enough flames on other threads to be found on this message board without you screwing up a lighthearted discussion. |

| The final scene of Scarface was great. It's blasphemy that Pacino didn't win anything for that movie I like movies that mimic the cycle the ancient greek tragedies. In all my favorite movies, there is a catharsis (i might be spelling that wrong) that is veeeeeeeery intense ![]() Another movie that not many people liked, is Way of the Gun. I absolutely love this movie, but most people don't really care for it. The ending scene of this movie is great, as well. Not a movie, but the greatest scene of anything ever is the closing scene of the final episode of the anime Cowboy Bebop. Even if you don't like anime you should watch this series, it is great. Another anime: Trigun, in episode's 23 & 24, there is one very intense scene in each. If you've seen the series, you'll know what I'm talking about - they're unforgetable ![]() |

| Cowboy Bebop has the most perfect ending I've ever seen.

| I don't think anyone mentioned it but.. What about independence day? "You didn't just shoot that green shit at me!". The openeing scene for swordfish is great, I think someone said this. Some scenes from Willow were cool. The first time you see the aliens in signs i was pretty wigged out becuase of the pressure built up to the moment. It was done extremley well. Unfortunatly the movie looses this somewhere along the way. For me atleast.

| The scene in The Exorcist where Regan stabs herself in the clit with the crucifix and then twists her head around and laughs at her mom who's screaming for her life while shit is flying all around the room and furniture is blocking ways to escape. Also...it's not really a movie, but it's 6 different videos of people REAL, ACTUAL people dieing caught on tape, actual real people getting brutally murdered caught on film, accidents, autopsies, etc. It's called Faces of Death, and I could only watch 4 scenes of it. It's just disturbing and makes you think about how fucked up this world is. But anyway...one of the scenes I saw was one of this russian guy getting a knife through the middle of his neck(right below his ear), and they cut through his neck making it cut forwards and making it exit out his throat. The guy was alive when they did it, and after watching it my fingers were fucking trembling. It looked like a russian soldier(the victim) was captured by some rebels. The russian dude was laying stomach down and the camera was focused on his head/neck area and the rebel had his boot on the russian's head and was poking his neck with a big ass fishing knife and after a few words, the rebel jammed it through the soldier's neck and cut forward and exited the knife out his throat. Raw and uncensored. Showed every little gory detail. Just think of it like this...say your chin is on average 3-5 inches away from your chest when you're looking forward..after the rebel was done with the russian soldier, the russian soldier's chin was about 2 feet away from his chest, and only the back of the guy's neck was connecting his head and his body. Blood everywhere..you could hear the guy screaming and garggling his own blood when they were doing it. I felt sick after watching that shit and I recommend that no one with a weak stomach watch it, and definately NO ONE UNDER 18 watch it. If you're feeling like Rambo today and want to watch it, you can download it off of morpheus or kazaa. They're like napster except you can get videos and shit...just type in 'russian soldier' in the search box and you'll find it. |

| Don't forget the guy being burned to live against a tree. Or the man willingly having his head chopped off with an axe. Faces of Death is pretty fucked up. The day that kind of shit doesn't bother you is the day you need to question just how desensitized you WANT to be.
