| Who said... Who said my intention was to be "witty"? You asked me a direct question, I gave you a direct answer. That's really all there is to it. Being witty was not my goal. We all know that you have message board ambitions much more advanced than mine, Searyx.... such as posting on every single thread with all-knowing, self-righteous, and often contradictory remarks. For example, in this thread: http://www.fohguild.org/forums/showt...&threadid=2292 Searyx says , in reply to "Why did this get rickshawed?!".... "Because it's not EQ or FoH related?" Then, in this thread: http://www.fohguild.org/forums/showt...&threadid=2155 he whines when his post (that is not EQ or FoH related) gets Rickshawed. Searyx, I know you'll probably just say you were jesting in the "Why did my Triumph the Dog thread get Rickshawed?" comment , and then you'll say that you don't really care whether it got Rickshawed or not... but that would be bullshit. It's obvious how much it hurts your ego when your posts are so blatantly disregarded. |

+1 Internets | For Christ's sake man, this is the movie forum! I'm here to talk about movies. Not to play "flame the n00b" with you. If you wanna talk about this shit, put it on the regular board and we can argue it on the Rickshaw. This is not the place.

| Well You are very right...but this is where you post (mostly).... so this is where i reply to your posts. And to add a relevant reply (my first one in awhile) to the original topic.... I also really like the scene from Fight Club where Jack beats the hell out of Angel (the blonde guy's) face. that was some pretty disturbing/intense/gutwrenching shit. | I've seen so many movies ( call me a movie buff ) that very few get my stamp for originality and can actually make me go, " wow, that was.... sweet". I'd have to put my vote foreward for The end of Usual Suspects, or the end of Godfather when Mike started to turn into what his father was and what he never wanted to be. |

| Intense huh There's nothing more intense than a good horror movie for me. All the murders in Seven were pretty damn intense. So was that scene in Event Horizon when Sam Neil is fixing that circuit board. First battle in Aliens was fucking intense. Dude, that shit was balls to the walls action. By the way, if you can get the Aliens DVD I'd strongly recommend it, there are a whole bunch of cool scenes that were deleted from the final cut. One of them featured these robotic sentry guns they used to guard them while they rested, was sweet. Not many recent movie scenes I can think of. In the past year, I'd have to say the Yoda/Dooku fight and the Aragorn/Urukai fight were the most exciting. The audience at the theatres I attended were clapping during those scenes, they must have done something right. |

| cliche maybe, but the only one I can think of off hand is Tom Hanks lying near the bridge in Saving Private Ryan with only his Colt 1911 firing hopeless shots at the tank right before the P51 demolishes it. |

ANyways my intense movie scenes: Matrix dojo scene (shaddap I'm a martial arts geek) Matrix Lobby scene Saving private ryan D-Day scene Saving private ryan sniper kill and last and probly least the lightsaber fights in the phantom menace. I just dont think attack of the clones fights measured up. Sure the yodafight wass nice but it was more comedic then serious. TPM's kickass fight between maul, Qui-Gon, and obi-wan just rawked. | |

| Balrog... When the Balrog in LoTR appeared from the flames, and proceeded down the corridor down the corridor, smoke trailing behind it. That entire scene is my absolute favorite of all time "hands down". (until the next one comes out, naturally) |

| LOTR... The battles in LOTR was the first time in awhile that I can remember sweating and gripping the arm rests in the theatre. A close second would be the sword fights in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon... |
