| Shamus, I saw that scene as well. I can't honestly say what I thought would make for a better ending though. Yet, since that scene was cut, and Dante lived, a sequel can be made. Sadly, Kevin Smith won't be making any more movies. |

+16 Internets | Man you got to love general statements about the history of motion pictures... What's the best one of the 48 Tora San movies? ( http://us.imdb.com/Name?Atsumi,+Kiyoshi ) What's the best one of the 26 Zatôichi movies? ( http://us.imdb.com/Name?Katsu,+Shintar%F4 ) What's the best one of the 12 Kyoshiro Nemuri movies? ( http://us.imdb.com/Name?Ichikawa,+Raiz%F4 ) Hell! What's the best one of the James Bond movies? Heh! Even remakes can surpass the original sometimes... to answer the question at hand though: BEST: The titles which jumped in my heads are A Better Tomorrow 2 and A Chinese Ghost Story 2. I am not that sure about ABT2 though because I don't remember the first and the second clearly so I may mix them a bit. The final sequence of ABT2 though when Chow Yun Fat wears the coat of his dead brother (played by him in the first movie) and then go in a house to slaughter with his friends the dozens of mobsters that are there is labeled "cult classic" in my book. ACGS2 is more clear in my mind, because the first episode is an horror/comedy mix that is only midly funny and pretty cheap, when the 2nd is an amazing action/comedy mix with great visual creativity and all around madness (I saw it a looooong time ago and that's one of the first hong kong fantasy movie I saw, so maybe I would be disapointed seeing it today...) WORST: Alien 4 and Highlander 2 have allready been mentioned but they need to be mentioned some more :P The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and 3 are also incredibly lame compared to the first one (that seem to often be the case with horror movies for some reason...). MISSING: mmmmh..... a new Naked Gun maybe? A new Batman by Tim Burton? I have odd ideas when I am sleepy... I would love to see a sequel to Yi Yi too because every now and then I think back at the characters of this movie and would love to share their life again (for all the good things I have to say about Yi Yi, go check the post I made about it a couple of months ago :P ) too lazy to check the spelling... good luck reading all this :P

+38 Internets | I would love to see another Naked Gun movie, but I really really doubt it happening. Leslie Neilsen is getting too old to do a movie of that nature, I think. And of course there is the whole OJ thing (if they put him in the movie, could you imagine the bad press? And it would be justified). And I shiver to think what a Naked Gun movie would be like w/o Leslie Nielsen. |

+38 Internets | What movies has Leslie Neilsen made in the past few years? The only one I can think of is Men With Brooms, a Canuck movie (he is himself one) about curling. That was actually quite a good movie. But he had a smaller part in it, and played an old man that hurt himself while playing the game, so it wasn't a particularily active role. |

Best: Breakin' 2 - Electric Boogaloo. Only because it has the best sequel name ever. Worst: Whichever was the first Police Acadamy movie that even Steve Guttenburg realized he was too good to be in it. Missing: Ghost in the Shell (though I heard they were doing some sort of sequel - I haven't kept up) | |
