| Against my better judgement, I went to see this last night and was surprised by how much I liked it. There were some funny moments with Vince Vaughn and Vincent D'Onofrio in it. The Breakup felt more genuine than other movies from the same genre, and had a very un-Hollywood and honest ending. I hate 97% of all romantic comedies, but I liked this one. |

+16 Internets | Vince Vaughn is cool, even if he played essentialy the same part for several years now. Some people built successfull careers like that though, but it still feels he could do more, but has difficulties getting some parts because of his height (6' 5" - 1.96 m).

Second, I don't see how this would be considered a spoiler. Unhollywood-like ending could mean any one of thousands of ways to close a movie... I guess the troll needed feeding though.

| You see Anniston's spine and her out-of-focussed butt. It's really not much. Personally I thought the ending was kind of tacked-on and poorly acted. The rest of the movie did have the "realistic" thing going, especially how the fights sort of escalate from something small into all-out bitch fest. |

Person 1: Hi! Person 2: Hi! It's been such a long time! Person 1: How have you been? Person 2: Good. good. *forced smile* etc.. etc.. And I personally like anything that deviates from formulaic Hollywood conventions. I love movies where the main character makes it to the end and than fails at the last part, or movies where the main character resents his parents and thinks they're despicable people all his life, and at the end finds out something about them that makes him hate them even more. When I say this movie seemed genuine, I'm talking about the dialogue really. The movie still had plenty of ludicrous sitcom moments and whacky characters, but I liked the way Jennifer and Vince talked to each other, they talked like real people.
