Also as far as the voting for these awards, as a college student who lives around teenagers and such, I am not surprised at all that movies like Napolean Dynamite, Mean Girls, and Wedding Crashers clean up at the MTV movie awards. Teenagers fucking love these movies, for better or worse. I'm pretty sure the same people that vote for shitty musicians/bands on TRL vote for the MTV movie awards, and that explains it all. This frivolous award show should never be confused with the Oscars. Last edited by benbadman : 06-11-2006 at 06:28 PM. | |

Retarded Star Wars suits aside, that was a great song. I can't believe I havn't heard of this band before. I love Danger Mouse, and, though I'm not a huge rap fan, I enjoy the work of Cee-lo too. Thanks for this

| Most of the show was horribly boring for me, though I gave up 2/3 through and missed the jim carrey part. The movie skits they did were just so bad they were embarrassing to watch. Gnarls barkley was awsome though, never heard of them before.

I blame most of the bad acting in the last 3 Star Wars movies on incompetent directing. I know Hayden atleast has some talent, all you have to do is watch Shattered Glass to see that. All 3 movies were shot entirely in front of blue/green screens and if you notice the only actors that didn't look lost and come across as completely talentless are the ones who had done blue/green screen work in other movie for other directors. So my theory is that George was in over his head as far as directing actors who were inexperienced working in front of blue/green screens.
