| I'd pay top dollar to see a movie that goes something like this: Johnny Depp and Christian Bale star in the forthcoming summer blockbuster Lethal Weapon 5, where Depp (Murtock) and Bale (Riggs) face off against a slew of cantankerously placid-faced nitwits in the form of Orlando Bloom (Spiderhands), Matt Damon (Dr. Bourning) and the always stoic but facial-expressionless Ben Affleck, who plays the ultra-villain (Handjob). Watch as crazy tag-team action unfolds and Riggs rips the spine out of Dr. Bourning, Spiderhands meets his demise at the hands of a saucy, rum-ridden Murtock, and Handjob implodes from a vanity-inflicted bomb of self-deprecation and career ruining. Or something.

| See that is what I would call a 'douchey review'. There are thousands all around the internet. Example, I actually read a review for this movie, that went something along the lines of "When we saw Depp as Jack Sparrow in the first movie, it was a breath of fresh air. It was a character we had never seen from him before, and the way he played the character was very nice. However in the second movie, seeing him as Jack Sparrow wasn't as much a breath of fresh air. He acts the same exact way he did in the first movie, and leaves us without any new Depp characteristics." ...are they complaining that the character Jack Sparrow acted the same in both movies? ...are they SERIOUSLY complaining that Jack Sparrow acted like the SAME PERSON he was in the first movie?! Yep. Douchey review. They're everywhere. The phrase "everyones a critic" will never ring more true in any place, than Millie's Movie House. |
