| The movie pitch game A buddy and me started joking around about this after watching a video from youtube parodying the process of a studio exec coming up with 'Snakes on a plane'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h59p9kOZkLI The line is when he talks about 'Diary of Anne Frank' and says 'It's great, it's like Schindler's list meets Panic Room'. Being the film dorks that we are, we thought that was hilarioud, and both of us being interested in the pitch process for scripts, we started wondering how someone might come up with an 'It's X meets Y' pitch for other things. The things started off as old classic movies being re-pitched, but evolved into just any movie if the pitch part was funny. The rules were you had to use at least one movie in the X meets Y part though. The other part needed to be an easily recognizable cultural product if it wasn't a movie title. For example: Soylent Green, "It's like 'Silence of the Lambs' meets Green Eggs and Ham" Fight Club "It's like 'Rocky' meets the Anarchist's cookbook" Sometimes, one of us would challenge the other with one, and then we'd both come up with a line. But, I think I'd rather just let anyone come up with any funny ones they can think of. It's really only fun for film enthusiasts, like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game, but I figured some of you might have fun with it. |

Healthy edit: I'm not ashamed to say I'd watch said movie (at least once). *Latina asscheeks 4tw*
