I've been hearing Optimus will be blue and white and have a "battle shield" slide up over his mouth like Beast Wars Optimus, not "real" Optimus.

Also, Megatron will be a cannon of some sort, not a handgun.

I'm KIND OF ok with Megatron not being a gun since changing sizes would be a bit odd in a live action movie...

I will explode if Optimus is white and blue for some irrational reason.

im following the news about this move from over a year, nothing is certain right now, but they are trying to keep the g1 look as much as possible. problem is get the copyright to use cars models, and obviously use more modern cars than the 80 ones

other "almost" certain news:

they are planning to start the movie directly on earth, with maybe some flashback on cybertron explaining the background

no gestalts on first movie

groups will be small. between 4 and 7 for each faction

also, don murphy (producer) talked about the possible trilogy if it will go well on box office

on second movie we will have 1 gestalt, and possible rumors about the coming of Unicron. 3rd movie, about unicron and autobots last battle

Too bad, i fear they will destroy my n.1 childhood myth....just like they did with Godzilla

Did I read right? The Decepticons are going to be sterile robots made by the military? Megatron is in perma tank mode (IE cannot transform)?

O god, looks like this one will be straight to DVD for me. One of these fucking days these movie directors will stop fucking with a good thing.

See LoTR, Xmen, SpiderMan

Then See Doom, Hulk, Godzilla to name a few

Always pisses me off when Hollywood shits all over a good already laid out plot.

I try not to get annoyed by changes...they aren't the cartoon, just deal with it. Everyone thought Ronald Moore was a complete ass for changing Starbuck into a woman and look how that worked out.

From what I read, they're not made by the military, but (get this)...

The military can hurt them, far easier then anything we've seen before. Soundwave, who will apparently be human sized, is decapitated by a human allegedly. They're nicknaming him (the fans on that board) Soundbyte and Kennywave. They're not happy.

Apparently they're moving away from the Ark and the Nemesis and saying the TF's are nanomachines who adapt to the worlds machines and that they arrived in comets. Nerd explosion when that leaked, hopefully it won't stay.

Most recent leaks indicate that only Megatron and Starscream has a personality, that the rest act like drones (fucking Vehicon-like). Scorponok might just be a drone :/

Megatron might not have a mode, period, just his robot form.

Cybertron is already destroyed before the movie starts.

Fucking Transformers are looking for "THE Energon Cube". Not trying to get energon cubes or energy, but looking for THE cube. Fucking gay.

It boggles my mind, but the best part is the guy who runs that board is one of the Producers and he's annoyed now at the vehement hate being spewed now. He claims he's trying to keep it as close to G1 as possible, but he's fighting others, so maybe it's not him, but..

Fucking Michael Bay :/
