This marks my first attempt at adding subtitles into a Divx film clip. Questions and comments regarding the subtitles would be appreciated.

Even if you're not an anime fan, I suggest you download this anyway. It might change your mind about the medium.

Right Click Here and select "Save Target As..." to download Evangelion.avi

Statistics: 5min, 47sec long | 10.7mb in size | Encoded with DivxPro 5.02 at 195kb per sec, 2-pass | Audio Encoded with MPEG-3 Layer at 48khz, 48kbits, Mono | SSA subtitles |

If you're getting audio, without the video, then you're too fuckin' stupid to be watching these

I'm considering encoding a subtitled version of the Bar Scene fight from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, but only if there's enough who want it.

Searyx, if you want to do another Evangelion clip, may I make a suggestion? Instead of doing a fight scene, instead do the scene in End of Evangelion, where Shinji is pleading with Asuka to help him, Asuka refuses, Shinji cracks, and the music sets in. If nothing else, it'll give you more practice with subtitles

. To me, that was always the most moving scene throughout the whole series, possibly second only to the Asuka vs. The Fifth generaiton Evas fight.

End of Evangelion isn't out on DVD yet. There is a Hong Kong version, but it is offensively mis-translated. Worse than "Somebody set us up the bomb!"

As far as the bar scene goes, I'm working on that as I type.
