| I am actually looking forward to seeing this I do hope Oliver Stone doesn't rely on exploiting emotion about that day to drive the movie. United 93 was good and didn't do that so I doubt Oliver Stone does (but who knows anymore). |

| This is actually probably the best course of action. Nothing pisses off Muslim terrorists more then to see the fruits of their labor being turned around to make a bunch of Jews richer ;p

+2 Internets | Oliver Stone directed Alexander. Oliver Stone is not making a film about 9/11 as a conspiracy to be exposed. Fuck Oliver Stone.

Exactly. fuck Oliver Stone. Any Given Sunday has shown he is better at dramatizing real events then showing real controversy. JFK was made in 1991, the assasination happened in 1963, by that time there was so much information done and delivered that all Stone had to direct were books to film. Maybe in 20 years a real movie will come out about 9-11, but I doubt it. I'd like to see a proper documentary done with less liberal propaganda like farenheit 9-11 and some more straight to the point facts. not sure if anyone knows, this REALLY happened, haha. there is enough footage from news rooms and tivos alone to depict what happened at and during impact. people were shown on fire jumping out of fucking buildings. its not like controversy cannot be made. you don't even have to show people how horrible it was. there are plenty of known people in the science community that have spoken out to say that the physics given by the U.S government on how buildings fell or what hit when and how are already up for debate. so many debates on internal explosives and cockpit explosives to fill a library. tons of homemade movies have come out already. hopefully in 20 years someone will put all those homemade films together and make a real good film about the event. then the government will come out with more science and more information that they wouldnt give before to prove to people that the conspiracy they thought was there, never existed. once you show them all the info we have , they will release more specific information to debunk it. i can't wait.

| You forget Platoon and The Doors? On the topic of the debate things I saw a thing on either The History Channel or Discovery talking about it in detail and they said the steel in the WTC could withstand something in the area of 800 degrees or there abouts and the Jet fuel explosion/fire was in excess of somewhere around 1200. |

| This movie looks good. The only reason I didn't see Flight 93 is because I knew it was going to be dramatic, and everyone was going to die. I hate leaving a movie theater depressed but at least with this movie, the main characters get rescued in the end. Oh, and I like Oliver Stone as a director for the most part. Platoon, Natural Born Killers, and The Doors were all awesome movies in my opinion. Plus Nick Cage is the fucking man!

Dunno, I kinda liked Alexander. I can see why it recieves no loving by homophobic americans.. but it wasn't all that bad I thought. Than again.. I don't see how the destruction of two aged office buildings offers much material for a movie. Maybe the motivation of the nutcases hijacking the airplanes or all the hype the americans started after losing a few thousand civilians to a terrorist attack would offer more interesting stuff. Watching a the usual disaster movie suspects running around a soon-to-collapse building isn't really all that different from watching Poseidon or some such flick when all is said and done.
