I saw a trailer for this when watching House M.D.. It looks like it could be good, but it also looks like it will have the typical horror flick child playing evil.

The original Omen was possibly the scariest movie I ever saw as a kid. I almost shit my pants when grandma crawled on the ceiling. This remake looks cool, and I hope it keeps to the original's horror closely. I hate remakes, however I would also hate if someone fucked this movie up. The original was that good.

yea you are right. I always confuse the two for some reason. really not much in common. I think cause I was much younger when I saw the Omen. Still scared the shit out of me. I thought there was a weird scene where someone crawled in it, but dunno now. I will have to rent it.

qft. The Omen has a chance to be good IF they don't change the story at all. Out of all the horror remakes there is only two that worked with a changed story Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes (Hills I like ALOT more then the original, TCM I'm not sure if I like it more or not both are excellent).

Ok fixed the problem of not seeing The Omen before and it is quite badass I truly hope they don't ruin it with a horrid remake.
